General description
When we created DAIDO Premium, our goal was to provide our users with one of the most flexible and cost-effective servers on the market.
Countless tests have proven that it is impossible to achieve high sound quality with digital playback devices without the right hardware and software. Therefore, we have incorporated everything necessary at this price level into our DAIDO server to create an outstanding product. These include a full analogue 8-circuits power supply; high-quality, shielded toroidal transformers; a self-designed, CNC-machined aluminium housing with passive cooling; special USB and NET cards designed by us at no extra charge; a high-precision OCXO clock generator based masterclock system with clock input and clock output; and many other small features.
It should also be clear to everyone that software is as important as hardware for operating such a machine, especially in terms of its impact on sound.
We are unique in this area too — we are the world leader in running the operating system, music player software and music also fully loaded from internal memory under Windows 11 (at least we are not aware of anyone else having done it). This is a significant step forward in terms of sound quality.
Of course, we've made many other changes to the operating system to improve sound quality, including delving into the deepest recesses of the BIOS and Windows 11 kernel level to optimise music playback and sound quality.
Returning to flexibility. All the most popular and best music player and catalogue software, such as ROON, Audirvana and JRiver , are pre-installed.
Simply install our proprietary ATLANTIS SURFACE application on your Android or iOS device, select your preferred player software, and log in with your username and password to both the player software and your favourite streaming service. And voilà! You're ready to start playing.
You can also choose from your favorite cloud services. Tidal, Qobuz, HRA, Presto Music, Deezer and Amazon Music will definitely be available through one of the player software programmes. If not, they will be available through the dedicated factory-installed apps.
As an added bonus, we have also pre-installed Netflix, so you can watch your favourite films via the HDMI output on your TV or projector while listening to the sound through your high-quality audiophile system. Alternatively, you can feed the HDMI signal into a home theatre processor if you have a separate system for video playback. Beside Netflix all of the video streaming provider are available if they have a client app (MAX, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ etc. ).
We've also thought of those who have a large collection of digital music or prefer to download or rip CDs. You can expand the internal storage to 16 TB using analogue-powered, re-clocked SSD storage devices and fill it with your favourite tracks.
Some of you may already have tried installing SSD storage devices and noticed that they do not provide a better music playback experience than streaming, even though they should. The fact is that even the best SSDs generate noise in the system due to their weak internal clocking and poor power supply, which makes them sound worse than streaming and can even degrade the quality. In fact, it would be better if they weren't in the machine at all, as they do more harm than good.
We have taken a different approach in this area as well. After extensive experimentation and numerous listening sessions, we solved the problem by equipping our optional SSDs with their own analogue power supply and supporting them with a high-quality OCXO internal clock signal.
This guarantees that you will experience your favorite music stored on your SSD like never before, regardless of the format.
If all this were not enough, our DAIDO Premium server was designed from the outset with the idea that we could further enhance its sound quality with other Core Audio products that can be purchased separately.
One example is our KAGEN Premium external master clock generator, which, when connected to the server, provides even higher clock quality, further enhancing the listening experience.
Another example is the KARUNA Premium DDC reclocker, which conditions the digital signal coming out of the DAIDO Premium server via USB before it reaches the DAC.
And, of course, the DENPO DAC is also an excellently optimized partner in converting digital streams into analog signals – you could say they were made for each other.
In a nutshell, by paying attention to every detail of our DAIDO Premium server, we have created a product with truly outstanding capabilities, which we believe can compete with products on the market priced up to €30,000.

Hardware specification:
- Core Audio V2.0 analogue 8 circuits PSU: ALL NEW, second generation PSU unit made from carefully selected special components (Nichicon audio grade capacitors). A fully analogue power supply for each component with 8pcs circuit and standard ATX sockets. It is fully balanced with low output noise.
- Passive cooling Core Audio's newly developed case, made from high quality aluminum, CNC machined, optimized screwless/minimal design. Fully compatible with passive cooling systems, operating in silent mode
- mini ITX x86 architecture with carefully selected RAM modules
- 1Tb M2 SSD on motherboard as SystemSSD and basic MusicStorageSSD
- Max. 2x 8Tb SATA SSD for music file storage (optional + 2Tb, 4Tb or 8Tb can be ordered) : this 2.5" SSDs are powered by DADIO music server's internal ULN PSU and get a masterclock sync from internal masterclock. - Core Audio's newly developed, 4th generation PCIe cards introduced in this server: USB and Ethernet card connected directly to the DAIDO PREMIUM's built in masterclock system. The cards are equipped ULN own PSU units which are connected to the music server's PSU unit with ULN regulators via 4pin molex connectors
- Components has timing and the start-up phase is fully automated
- SoftStart component (optional if you doesn't need that, but for 220.000uF capacitors in PSU it is highly recommended)
- 10MHz (BNC 75ohm connectors) reference clock IN and OUT, the internal masterclock can get a better external clock source to be syncronised OR can his own internal 10 MHz high precision OCXO clock signal share with other equipment (like Core Audio DENPO Premium).
Software specification:
- Altered BIOS and operating system settings to switch off or delete functions and applications that are not necessary for music playback.

The operating system and all of the player, optimizing software are running in a RAM (like RAM Disk). After starting the music server with optimized BIOS the operating system loading into the music server's RAM, the boot time is ca. 1-1.5 Minutes. Then the user can choose on the Atlantis Surface environment:

The Core Audio Memory Player software environment is our solution and advise to use it for the best sound quality and UI on our system. Of course our customers can choose the normal operating system management without memory playing.
